Inspire Nunavut Cohort Reports and Dashboard

I identified the need to improve program monitoring through my evaluation plan for a 12-week social entrepreneurship program. Closer monitoring was crucial as the organization was expanding to offer multiple cohorts in different locations simultaneously. 

The facilitators were already using Google Sheets to track participant attendance and progress. To simplify evaluation processes, I consolidated the data they were already tracking with additional questions into a Cohort Report Gooogle Sheet with tabs for each week. These tabs are styled to look like a form where Program Coordinators (Facilitators) respond to choice and open-response questions. A hidden sheet pulls and summarizes data from the weekly sheets using IF, IFS, and IFCOUNT functions. This information is then pulled into a final sheet that generates a list of competency statements for each participant that facilitators can copy into the progress reports and build upon.

To provide evaluation and monitoring data for the team, I created a linked Cohort Dashboard Google Sheet file summarizing the data from the Report sheet. The files are connected using IMPORTRANGE and data validation checkboxes allow the Dashboard to show and hide data by student or week. These checkboxes link to data in the Weekly Cohort Report and the relevant data is pulled through the QUERY function.

The Dashboard pulls data from multiple weekly report files to visualize summary data from each cohort. This provides an overview of each cohort's progress and challenges for the Program Managers. It also provides communications, marketing, and evaluation data for other team members.
